"The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs … you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." (Isaiah 58:11)

P.U.S.H. PRAYER MINISTRY: Pray Until Something Happens:  If you want to experience the power of prayer, join us on Sunday mornings (following the 11:00 a.m. service) to pray for the needs of our community.

Do you need the refreshing power of prayer? If you are experiencing difficulties, trials or heartache; if you feel that God is too far away to hear you; if you have a joy for which you would like to thank God, let us unite with you in prayer. All requests are confidential. Contact our prayer coordinator to have your joys or concerns lifted up to the Lord.

Don’t be afraid to speak your heart to God, no matter what may be in it. In essence, that is what prayer is. The following prayers may aid your prayer and meditation. Use them as models or create your own.

For Dedication or Rededication to Christ

Lord Jesus, I pray sincerely from my heart. I know I am a sinner. Cleanse me from unrighteousness. I turn away from sin, to You, Jesus, and receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. I know You are faithful to forgive me, Lord. Thank You for saving me. Amen.

For Thanksgiving

Bless the Lord, O my soul, for His mighty acts. Let heaven and Earth bless His Holy Name. Let me not forget He who forgives my sins and heals me. Bless the Lord, O my soul, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank You Lord for hearing my prayer and blessing me with Your grace and mercy. Help me now to share that blessing with others. Send me forth in Your name, and let me always be grateful for Your favor to me.

For Healing

Lord of all, look upon me with eyes of compassion. Let Your healing hands comfort me. Let Your life-giving power flow through me. Cleanse me and restore me to wholeness, Lord, body, mind and spirit. Empower me for service in Jesus’ name.

For Loneliness

God, I feel so abandoned and alone. I feel neglected and unsupported, and it hurts so much. Lead me to the still waters of comfort. Make me aware of Your awesome presence. Give me the faith and conviction that will help me trust in You and in Your messengers. My hope is in You, Lord.

For Patience

Lord, I am tired of waiting. I want things to happen more quickly than they are. Little things annoy me, and time hangs heavily upon me. Please, God, help me to wait patiently. Impart to me the peace that passes understanding.

For Courage

Send me the courage to face what I must, the strength to endure and the patience to bear that which must be. Whatever the outcome of this present trial, Lord, I am grateful for life itself. Despite my doubts, I turn to You and ask for faith in Your goodness and Your plan for me.

For Anger

Lord, I feel so angry. Things are not going as I’d hoped, and people are not acting as I think they should. I ask you to guide me, Lord. Help me to accept the situation as it is. Be with me in this time of struggle. Take these ugly feelings from me, Lord, and help me to feel love for my brothers and sisters.

For Intercession

Lord, I come to You on behalf of my brother/sister. Bless him/her with Your healing hand, Your comfort and peace. Let him/her soar on eagle’s wings, believing that You are steadfast and true. Lord, I pray that You will take from him/her that which afflicts, that which oppresses and that which enslaves. Free him/her from bondage, Lord, in Jesus’ name.
