Pre School and Summer Program

Pre School
At that time, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" He called a little child and had him stand among them. And Jesus said: 'I will tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this is my house welcomes me.'" (Matthew 18:1-5)

As educators of young children, we believe each child is a unique individual with his/her own set of experiences, thoughts, feelings and ideas, and as a unique individual, each child is a valid and accepted member of the nursery school group. The major goal of the pre school program is to promote each child's development of a positive self-image.

This goal is achieved by the program's close ties to the child's family, the daily schedule of activities, the behavioral management techniques used by the staff, the quality of the child's relationships with peers and adults, and various projects and activities throughout the school year.

Social play is an important activity for the young child since play facilitates the development of the whole child. Each child brings to the classroom new experiences, needs, interests, ideas and feelings. Those things a child brings to the nursery school group help determine the curriculum for the child and the group. We also respect and honor the role of the parent in the child's life and use a parent-teacher team approach in our program.

We offer 2 day, 3 day, and 5 day, half day programs for children 3 years old by September 1st.

We are happy to introduce our new Tot Program open to children 2 1/2 years old by September 1st.

The Tot Program will meet 2 mornings a week from 9:15am to 11:15am.
